This 4-day Ramayana Tour takes you through sacred temples, caves, mountains, and forests connected to Lord Rama, Hanuman, and Sita Mata.
This journey is designed for spiritual travelers seeking devotion, history, and natural beauty, combined with comfortable travel and peaceful surroundings.

Your sacred journey begins with a warm welcome at Bandaranaike International Airport by Keving Tours.
The first stop is Munneswaram Temple in Chilaw, one of the most important Shiva temples mentioned in the Ramayana. It is believed that Lord Rama prayed here to seek forgiveness after defeating King Ravana.
Next, you visit Manavari Temple, where Lord Rama installed the first Shiva Lingam, making this temple extremely significant for devotees.
From Chilaw, you continue your journey along the eastern coastline to Trincomalee, a city rich in spiritual and historical importance.
In Trincomalee, you visit the majestic Koneswaram Temple, located on Swami Rock overlooking the Indian Ocean. This temple is believed to be associated with Ravana’s devotion to Lord Shiva.
You also visit Shankari Devi Temple, one of the 18 Shakti Peethas.
Overnight stay in Trincomalee.
After breakfast, you travel through scenic landscapes towards the hill capital, Kandy.
Along the way, enjoy peaceful countryside views and spiritual reflections.
In the evening, you visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most important Buddhist temples in the world. While not directly from Ramayana, this visit adds spiritual balance and cultural depth to the journey.
You may also enjoy a short cultural performance in Kandy.

After breakfast, you travel into Sri Lanka’s beautiful hill country.
Your first sacred stop is Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple in Ramboda. This temple marks the location where Hanuman searched for Sita Devi. The area is surrounded by mountains and waterfalls, creating a powerful spiritual atmosphere.
Next, you proceed to Seetha Amman Temple in Seetha Eliya, Nuwara Eliya. This is believed to be the exact place where Sita Devi was held captive in Ashok Vatika. Nearby streams and stones are said to carry footprints of Hanuman.
You also visit Ashok Vatika, where Sita Mata prayed and waited for Lord Rama.
Continuing towards Ella, you visit Divurumpola Temple, the place where Sita Devi underwent the Agni Pariksha (fire test) to prove her purity.
Overnight stay in Ella or Nuwara Eliya.
On the final day, you visit sites connected to King Ravana.
First, you stop at Ravana Falls, a beautiful waterfall believed to be used by Queen Mandodari.
Next, you explore Ravana Cave, where it is believed Sita Devi was hidden during captivity. The cave is located on a steep mountainside and holds great mythological importance.
After these visits, you begin your return journey to Colombo or directly to the airport.
